Anytime I am on a zoom call and my video is on, I always behave myself lol. Especially if the spotlight is on me, even if mosquito is biting me, I will act as if all is well. I am sure I’m not the only guilty of that.

When you are on a zoom call and your video is on, there is a certain way you compose yourself. Even when you mic is mute, you can’t just behave anyhow. There is a certain degree of decorum that is required of you. The moment your video is turned off, you are allowed to do whatever you want. Everyone acts their best when they are being watched.  

It recently occurred to me that a greater video is on through which we are being watched by God, the heavenly host and a cloud of witnesses. Their camera doesn’t need internet connection and is on 24/7. Many don’t live with the consciousness of this. They feel like once no one is watching they are fine, forgetting that God is always watching.

Don’t do things to please men but God. God sees the good and the bad. David said “where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?… but even in darkness, I cannot hide from you. To you, the night shines as bright as the day. Darkness and light are the same to you.” Psalm 139:7,12.

So next time you think no one is watching, remember God is always watching. God bless
